Cal football 2025 TV times announced
The Golden Bears are back on the menu.
The California Golden Bears will continue to enjoy much better national visibility in their second year in the ACC, as they now have a third of their schedule set for national TV viewing. Half of the 2025 Cal football schedule now has TV assignments, with four late-night games and four national telecasts.

October 17 (Friday): North Carolina, 7:30 PM Pacific, ESPN

Here are the games that we will have to wait for in-season for TV announcements. We will know the times and TV announcements of the games are usually within 12 days (or 6) of kickoff, per current college football TV contracts.

November 1: Cal vs. Virginia
November 8: Cal at Louisville
November 22: Cal at Stanford

To hell with those 7:30 slots! ;-)
In a word, this schedule blows! Why so many late starts? I thought that moving to a more east coast oriented conference was supposed to get us more tv visibility? Half the country will be in bed by the time these games start and finish. The only late game that makes sense is at SDSU on September 20th. San Diego can get hotter than hell in the fall and there is ZERO shade at Snapdragon. In fact, when it opened three years ago, 500 fans had to be treated for heat exhaustion. I hope we have better luck this year in San Diego than in the past. The last Cal victory that I can recall that happened there was the 2006 Holiday Bowl.
