Hank Bachmeier had his best year under Plough last year at Boise St, and that he entered the transfer portal almost immediately after Plough was let go in week 3/4 of this season. That should tell you how highly a 4 year starter thought of his OC being fired.
Agreed on the OC experience. As Wilcox appears to be someone who has no involvement with the offensive gameplan, it's encouraging that several of these new assistants can bolster the offensive gameplanning with their past OC experience. While I was slightly positive on the Spav hire, I am much more encouraged by the entire collection of new offensive staff members.
