Late this afternoon, Cal Football received a commitment from Trevor Rogers out of Acalanes High School in Lafayette. Rogers is a 6’3, 200 lbs receiver who was rated 3* by 24/7 and looks to be a late bloomer in the recruiting cycle. He also is the brother of Cal Football WR Chris Rogers. Rogers also has offers from Washington State, Fresno State, and San Diego State among others.

In an article by Brandon Huffman of 24/7, Rogers raved about being close to home while playing D1 college football.
"My family was very happy because we have a lot of Cal roots in the family and it’s close to home so I’ll have my family and everyone nearby," said Rogers. "So it was a big factor, I’ve always wanted my parents to see me play in college and in Berkeley they can go to every home game." - Rogers via 24/7
Welcome to Berkeley, Trevor!

I'm not saying don't recruit 3-stars, but I hope we can land a few big fishes. That's going to take a bowl victory for that.
