As Cal makes their transition to the ACC, they needed reinforcements along the offensive line. After earning the commitment of OT Rush Reimer from Montana State, the Bears have got another pledge from the tackle ranks. Coming in the form of Victor Stoffel, the 6’8 behemoth from Stockholm, Sweden will have one year of eligibility with the Bears.
Stoffel chose the Bears over Texas A&M and UCF, and will be fighting alongside Reimer and TJ Session for the starting tackle job. He allowed only two sacks over the prior two seasons in Philadelphia and was rated as a top 100 tackle per Pro Football Focus.
Welcome to Cal, Victor!
Hogs!!
I would imagine that Wilcox thought a major perk of appointing Bloesch as OC is that he could help to bring the beef. Let's keep the beef coming.
