Wow, gave up one sack per year. I think that says about all you need to know.

The O and D lines. That's where games are won and lost, as per last night. Michigan was far superior in these lines and as a result, Washington lost badly. Go Coach Bloesch! Keep up the good recruiting.

Who do you refer to, Ivan, when you say “our quarterback is really good”?

Good news, and hopes for more.

The Stockholm Stopper* is gonna get reps and, with our injury luck, starts. Hope he's like his honey badger namesake (look it up).

*Want to call him the Rhi-Norse-ceros but wrong Nordic.

I would imagine that Wilcox thought a major perk of appointing Bloesch as OC is that he could help to bring the beef. Let's keep the beef coming.

Honestly, the biggest X factor for 2024 and whether we’re 7-5 or 4-8 is probably Sterlin Gilbert and his ability to cobble together a passing game….

As a former coach, you must have a good running game to really have a complete offense.

Of course, though with Bloesch and the pieces at OL/RB, I think our running game is going to be fine.

I’m much more concerned with the passing game.

It looks like our head coach is going back to his roots at wisconsin. Big three hundred pounds, offensive lineman, and big backs where he's just going to shove it down your throat. Mixed in with a little bit of passing that is a typical wisconsin type football team in the big ten. A few more pieces along that offensive line. And maybe one more speed guy and we might have something. our quarterback is really good, but he's going to need weapons and cows. Goingna need a lot of speed. especially when they play Flo Rida.

And Clemson.

Not to bring up a topic of Mandela affect, but lets hope Stoffel brings the Stove Top Stuffing. Go Bears!

Viktor looks like he's athletic and Swedes are tough....just look at Swedish hockey players, they are amongst the toughest in the game. It must be that Viking blood. Viktor is a little light on experience but with some good coaching he could be a solid add to our lineup. Coach Bloesch is just the guy to get it done. Btw, Sessions, Reimer and Stoffel will be competing for two jobs, Barrett Miller is out of eligibility. With Johnson and Rhome leaving, Stoffel and Reimer are solid replacements.

my sister married a guy of Danish descent who claimed Swedes were disliked because they were violent assholes. This was 40 years ago but Im hoping a healthy sliver of truth remains.

He may be a violent asshole, but let him be our violent asshole…for a change.

Ha! Let's hope, but only on the field of play. ;-)
