Cal Football Outside Linebacker Kuony Deng declares for the 2022 NFL Draft
Another one to the league!
Cal Football OLB Kuony Deng announced on twitter that he was declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft.
The senior OLB had another year of eligibility due to the Covid-exception but has decided to forgo his final year to challenge himself at the next level.
Deng started in all 19 games he was able to play in. He ends with career totals of 154 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss (-37 yards), 3.5 sacks (-14 yards), 6 quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

Good luck to Kuony. I think he made a huge mistake.
Losing guys to the transfer portal isn't great. But losing them to the ascendance portal is a-OK. Hope he lands on a good team and has lots of success.
