I do also and my grandson goes to Stanford. His great grandfather (John M. Eshleman) me, and his mother all went to Cal. They offered him a Track and Field and academic scholarship. Cal didn't. How do you think I feel about it.
With regard to your post, though, Cal has not "honed in" on another QB prospect; they have "homed in" (like a homing pigeon). To hone is to sharpen... (sorry for being a grammar national socialist).
