I feel good about this OL. First time in years I've felt that way. Not because of who is starting but because of the lads behind them that may need to step up at any time. So, we are OK with the OL.
J Sirmon starting at MLB is no surprise and neither is his ceiling. It is known and proven. The lads behind him, IMO, have higher ceilings. Paster could be a League player.
Seeing the DL on paper did not create the fear I thought. That said the DL can not afford any injuries for the next 5 months (now that does create some fear).
Coach Sirmon should bring it this year. In past years I thought he kinda went soft. But he has the skill and experience to let it loose this year, let's hope he does exactly that.
Expect 2 vanilla games in the first 2 weeks. Then come ND, hopefully ND and us will marvel at this Cal team and say, "holy fuck, I didn't see that coming". And if true means we beat the irish. Albeit it is a long way from here to Tipperary.
He missed the first week of camp. He’s probably behind the guys in terms of install and where his body is at. They’ll be fine. The depth at ILB might be the deepest on the roster.
Single most exciting entry gots to be Ott. Been commonly said for a couple years but it Bears repeating... D is good enough as long as O isn't too bad. Even though unproven, speed in the O and a decent QB also bring up excitement or at least interest level. Johnson going down is a typical Wilcox era bummer. Why can't we have nice things?!
Starling? (JC WR)

What happened to Iosefa?! Ott may have the It factor!
Appears sumtin is up, re: Iosefa.

Loved seeing the name Luckhurst among the kickers! His dad was a terrific Golden Bear kicker.
Cautiously optimistic.

Hyped about the speedy guys and field leaders on both sides of the ball. Beyond nervous about the big guys in the trenches...
I’m excited about the WRs.
CRAIG WOODSON BACK W/ THE 1'S!
