This is great news especially for our depth at DB. With Cam Sidney returning along with Isiah Crosby (who I believe was our best safety and best tackler before his injury) plus young but now experienced Aiden Manutai and our transfer from team Puddles (Kingston) we now have what seems to be a strong and experienced defensive backfield!
Cade is clearly the missing piece. I agree with Crazy88! Cade will thrive under our new leadership, in the new single LB scheme (needs to be fast and agile) and with the comprehensive talent around him on both sides of the ball!
Nice news! Now it's your turn, Cade. I don't really get why he would want to leave when we're likely to have the most talented team he would've seen thus far, especially if he remains a part of it.
What is considered big bucks? When he's making a life time decision. He's currently a starter now making money. Just remember the more you make the bigger your tax headache.
It occurs to me that Tosh and Co would have to accept or approve the return of folks who entered, correct? If that is so, it signals they want the player. Some who left might not be welcome to return, so there must be some dialog to ensure everyone is on the same page. In any case, very happy to see Cam come home!
Great! Now get Cade to do the same! As a former ILB coach in college for a short stint before I retired, I can tell you that defense really determines the out come of close games.
I like Cam Sidney and I am pleased he is going to play another season at Cal. Go Bears!
Welcome BACK to Cal, Cam!
Nice!
This makes me happy

A lot committed to Michigan today but Uluave is not one of them. I'm glad he didn't commit after their campus visit. We still have a chance.
It’s wild. Michigan offering big $$$.

Then we should offer bigger $$$
Get that degree, and glory on the grid.
Be forever a Golden Bear.

A lot of Oregon defenders are entering the portal

Yes. This team is going to be exciting next season

Under another coaching regime this does not happen... and we need depth everywhere.
Great news. I really like Cam.
