Cal players will adjourn for spring break, then will return to conclude the second half of the practice slate.
All Cal spring practices are expected to be open to the public, in particular the Spring Showcase on April 15th. Write for California will be attending most of the practices and providing regular detailed reports, so try and come out if you can!
interesting break between 1st and 2nd half of camp. lots of interesting things can occur during that time off. kids may study, some may not. some kids may have playbook and new jargon sink in, some may return and still be lost. either way, an interesting setup for the coaches as some players will ACTUALLY excel in the 2nd half while others won't.
was that the plan of this split camp time? dunno, but coaches will surely note the changes and make long term decisions based on it. this would be a good question to ask the coaches, IMO.
