Good luck Jake! Bears fans, this is normal for grad transfers to occur. This happens. What won't be normal is if we see players with multiple years left, leave. Then we panic

Finally, after decades, Cal started utilizing TEs in the offense. Tonges was a big part of it. High expectations for Latu and Terry to step up next year.

Ok this exodus is starting to become questionable. I get we have TE's lined up for the future, Reinwald fine (I didn't think we used him enough anyway), but Tonges and then Remigio too for the WR's??? I'm not liking what I'm smelling here.

This is totally normal. Seniors graduate. They either go to the NFL, qualify on their own to be in one of UC Berkeley's very very selective grad schools, or put their name in the portal to see if someone will give them a free graduate degree in their preferred line of work at a school that's easier to get into. And if nobody gives them a scholarship, they go live the rest of their life. It's the standard thing in college football. 100% of Cal's portal entries so far are guys who are graduates. This contrasts with Makai Polk last year, which was NOT a grad transfer. Those are the ones that you should worry about.

Exactly. Grad transfers happen...when underclassmen start bolting routinely, like Makai did, then you got a problem.

Of greater concern tho for recruiting: the impact of Justin Wilcox openly interviewing for Oregon...this hurts, whether he stays or goes.

Graduates like Chase Garbers, Daniel Scott, Branden Smith, Isaiah Humphries, Matt Horwitz, Robbie Rowell, Sami Nazzal, and Daniel Etter have yet to decide what they'll do. I think Garbers and Scott will try for the NFL, maybe one of the rest will put their name in the portal. The rest will move on with their lives.

Collin Moore has already hinted on Twitter that he's moving on with his life. He's graduated, but has a year left of eligibility.
