Cal men's basketball ACC opponents released for 2025-26
The path to victory will be challenging in Berkeley.
Mark Madsen and Cal men’s basketball have their hands full with their home schedule next year. But the good news is Haas Pavilion has the potential to be rocking all winter.
Here’s a list of Cal’s home opponents, and it is a gauntlet.
Duke – 35–4 overall, 19–1 ACC
Clemson – 27–7 overall, 18–2 ACC
Louisville – 27–8 overall, 18–2 ACC
SMU – 24–11 overall, 13–7 ACC
North Carolina – 23–14 overall, 13–7 ACC
Stanford – 21–14 overall, 11–9 ACC
Notre Dame – 15–18 overall, 8–12 ACC
Pitt – 17–15 overall, 8–12 ACC
Georgia Tech – 17–17 overall, 10–10 ACC
On the bright side, most of Cal’s road games will be very winnable, as they face off with most of the bottom half of last year’s ACC.

Cal basketball fans, thoughts on the schedule for next season?
Cal cannot expect to be competitive in a conference like the ACC, when you have to rebuild your roster year. We were just 2-11 on the road last year. I certainly would not describe any ACC road game as very winnable. o
Hopefully the turnout will be better for the home games.
