Cal Men’s Basketball adds Georgia Forward Jake Wilkins through the transfer portal
Another son of a NBA player joins the roster
Rising sophomore Forward Jake Wilkins has committed to Mark Madsen and the Cal MBB program via the transfer portal. The former top 40 recruit in the 2025 class joins the Bears from the Georgia Bulldogs. He averaged 4.9 points, 1.9 rebounds in an average of 10.2 minutes through 32 games.
Wilkins is the son of NBA Hall Of Famer Dominique Wilkins, who played for Georgia and the Atlanta Hawks. He is also the step brother of current Cal Assistant Coach Isaiah Wilkins. Nicknamed Baby Highlight, Cal fans should be excited to see some high flying athleticism at Haas this upcoming season.
Welcome to Berkeley, Jake!

Sounds like a familiar pattern. We are the training camp for NBA offspring. Come to Camp Madsen to get your game in shape for the B1G transfer....
NBA and Cal coaching relatives aside, seems like a great fit. Tall, athletic with the ball, and can defend? Yes please!
