Cal Men's Basketball has field set for 2022 Emerald Coast Classic
The Bears know who they'll be facing Thanksgiving weekend
The Bears finally know who they will be playing when they travel to Niceville, Florida for the 2022 Emerald Coast Classic. They will be taking on TCU on Friday, November 25th at 6:30PM PT on CBS Sports Network. That will be followed with a game against Clemson or Iowa on Saturday, November 26th at either 1PM PT or 4PM PT on CBS Sports Network.
The Bears are 2-0 against TCU with the most recent matchup coming in at the Top of the World Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska back on November 18th, 1999. Cal won 91-83 in that game. In other matchup histories, the Bears are 4-6 against Iowa but have never played Clemson in Men’s Basketball.
Cal will also host Southern on Friday, November 18th in Berkeley as part of the Emerald Classic.
Cal’s ‘99 NIT championship team (who beat Clemson) would dominate any Fox coached team.
Well last year Santa Clara beat March Madness TCU 85-66 and were ahead by as much as 28 and Cal beat Santa Clara. So this should be pretty easy. Surely the logic tracks out.......
