Cal Men's Basketball schedule finalized and with new opening opponent
Colorado State is replaced by a familiar foe
The Bears’ begin their second season under Mark Fox at a MTE (Multi-Team Event) at Oregon State. The Bears were scheduled to play Colorado State and Northwest (NAIA), but after Colorado State withdrew from the event after Covid-19 issues, there were concerns on who the Bears would play to start the season. That has been corrected as they will take on the OSU Beavers in a non-conference matchup.
The Bears will play Oregon State on November 25th at 4PM PT on Pac-12 Networks, followed by an exhibition against Northwest on Thanksgiving Day at 3PM PT on Pac-12 Networks. The Pac-12 season will actually begin on December 3rd, when the Bears welcome ASU to Haas Pavilion, followed by a matchup on December 6th at UCLA. Following that is a few non-conference games including a trip out east to Boston College. The Pac-12 slate then resumes with a trip to the Oregon schools, starting with a New Year’s Eve matchup against the Oregon Ducks.

Going to BC for a game, why?? It will be a surprise to no one when 1/2 the team has to quarantine after that trip.

Fox should get on the phone and call up the basketball coach at Wasatch Academy, where Bradley graduated from high school. My daughter also graduated from there, so I know the school well.
Wasatch is a prep school in the middle of nowhere in Utah but in the last few years have been, probably easily, the best high school basketball team in Utah. In fact, i think they opt out playing most Utah schools, oncluding the state playoffs but end up playing the top prep schools around the country that focus on basketball.
Top prep basketball players from a around the world flock to Wasatch. I believe several top players from there play for prominent college teams.
With Bradley playing so well at Cal, he should help Cal get the next star player from Wasatch. Maybe he could participate in the call i think Fox should make to the Wasatch head basketball coach.
