Cal Men’s Basketball sign 2 players during Fall Signing Period
One known and one surprise!
The Bears have signed two players in the Fall signing period. The first was ND Okafor, who committed to the Bears just a few weeks ago.
The second was a surprise in Grant Newell of IMG Academy, originally from Chicago, Illinois. The 6-foot-8 forward was ranked the 44th SF in the class by ESPN.

Meanwhile the women's basketball team announced the signing of Amaya Bonner. The Bishop O'Dowd senior is the 12th-highest ranked guard and the 51st-ranked prospect overall in the 2022 class. Also, the Bears won their opener last night vs. Sac State, 90-71. Maybe y'all at WFC can give them a little ink this season. It's a program on the rise.
