I’m incredibly tough on Fox, but have to agree...as stated before, I’m President of the Sam Alajiki fan club, and Anyanwu looks like a player too...interested in whether Roberson can break the streak of underachieving O’Dowd players...these 2 guys look solid as well. We still need a PG tho.
Meanwhile the women's basketball team announced the signing of Amaya Bonner. The Bishop O'Dowd senior is the 12th-highest ranked guard and the 51st-ranked prospect overall in the 2022 class. Also, the Bears won their opener last night vs. Sac State, 90-71. Maybe y'all at WFC can give them a little ink this season. It's a program on the rise.
I think the women's team will be better this year, however, they are still picked to finish last in the conference. It's a tough conference perhaps the best in D1. Smith is doing a good job but has a long way to go.
It’s on the schedule. But we’ve all had trouble watching the livestream two days ago so couldn’t do any writing on them in that regard. As much as Pac12 network sucks once it’s being broadcast on TV we’ll have more.
Well, Fox' recruiting seems to be trending in the right direction in spite of what is appearing to be another year of woe...

Our current PG can't make free throws and so is a late game liability
Exactly. I love Joel's defensive intensity, he can get to the tin and he's a good enough facilitator for a team, tho one that is short on weapons.
But he's a career 45% FT shooter - that is flat out unacceptable for a guard. And he's the only true PG on the roster....also unacceptable.

Go Bears!!
My main point being that they deserve more coverage here.

I agree.
Pretty sure they already DO!
Hopefully they didn’t see that first game.
Or they saw it and concluded that playing time would be readily available.
Especially for couple of athletic bigs
All conference games are televised as well as some non conference games, the rest are live streamed.
