Cal Men’s Basketball trip to Boston College cancelled
Mutual agreement to cancel the game and cross country trip.
The Bears were planning to make a trip this weekend to Boston to take on the Eagles after facing them in the Al Attles Classic in San Francisco last year.
The Cal-BC cancelation was a mutual decision between the two schools, and was made out of an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The cancelation is not due to either Cal or BC registering positive COVID-19 tests within their programs.
Cal intends to announce additional home games in place of the canceled trip to BC in the near future.
The Bears have not played since beating the USF on a Buzzer Beater 3 by Makale Foreman on Sunday. One of the games rumored to being scheduled is Cal State Northridge, as games against Stanford and Cal have popped up on the Matadors schedule on their website. The game has yet to be announced or shown on the Cal website. Stay tuned to Write For California for the latest.
