I can’t believe I paid to watch that. So unbelievably sloppy. I don’t know many turnovers we had, but it felt like every other possession. Most unforced. Keefe may be the worst player I’ve seen on a basketball court. And magnificently hate-able at the same time.
I tried watching this game but it just got too ugly. Sigh.......Mad Dog has definitely turned things around but there are still occasional hiccups. Maybe we can make a run during the Pac-12 Tournament.
Yep. That 3 by Carlisle to close the half was a dagger. Bears had cut it to 6 with a couple of quick buckets and the FR hits 1 of his 4 3’s basically at the gun. ‘Furd up 9…Cal then gives the ball away without even getting a shot off on 4 of their first 5 trips down the floor to open 2H and that’s all she wrote.
Disappointing close to the regular season with 3 double-digit losses where they were largely not competitive.
Still, a FANTASTIC season and I’ll always respect these kids that came to/stuck with Cal after the 3-29 debacle. They battled all season…so proud of this squad, and grateful to Madsen and the coaching staff…rebuild continues, with clear things to work on but also a very realistic path to contention in year 2.
