Cal’s actually better without Askew tonight…the ball is moving. Askew, like Shepherd last year and Bradley the year before, tends to have the ball in his hand 2/3 of the shot clock, and the already feeble O tends to bog down because of it. Better ball movement today.
If terminated in year 4, he’s owed 50% of next years base salary and talent fee, which is about $2.15M.
So half of that…basically, a little over $1M…which is very doable had Knowlton not alienated the donors by hiring Fox in the first place.
I would think…they’re gonna have to because Knowlton’s such a boob that he’d probably give Fox a pass because of COVID/injuries and let Fox come back for year 5.
