I tuned in during that brief glimmer of hope. That was a mistake. But kudos to the players for putting up a fight.

You hold Utah, the best 3P shooting team in the P12 to under 40% shooting from the floor, and 3-19 from 3…and get blown out.

Sigh. Not sure how this team is going to win another game.

Cal down at half. 29-18. Could be worse, could be better

We should have halftime tryouts for a 12th man, walk-on could come of the bench in the 2nd half.

The missing piece!!

Maybe not. He’s 1-5, which is right in line with his 7-year career stats…low % shooting, scoring numbers driven by high shot volume.

He’s a rotation piece on a solid team, not the savior on a bad one.

Exactly. He definitely belongs on the court, and will most assuredly help this squad, at least a little bit.

But the constant talking point that Fox and Knowlton are pushing that he’s some missing piece stinks of a desperate excuse by an overmatched coach and inept AD.

Clayton back tonight. We get to see if an inefficient, 7th year player that’s been a second option on bad mid-major teams is the missing piece that Fox and Knowlton claim.

Can't for the life of me understand why someone would stick around in undergrad for 7 years. Or for that matter, why we would offer him. And beyond that, how can he get enough transfer credits to graduate?

Because being an undergrad is fun and beats working?
