I will take the blame. The Bears were down 5 late in the first half so I messaged Reef and Nick "Hey the Bears are hanging in there" - immediately Oregon hit 2 back-to-back 3s to go up 11 within the span of 2 possessions and the Bears were not hanging in there anymore.
There was a point in the second half when we had cut the defector to 15 and it felt like we were going to be able to come back. Unfortunately it didn’t work out.

Talent gap.
Also they shot the lights out from 3. Lucky.
So that didn't go well...
Ouch.

A bit of a ray of hope there, but Austin missed a layup and then Oregon drained a 3, five point swing and that was it.
I wonder how often a 28-0 run is ‘surmountable’?
Maybe if it’s against us
Big showdown in Corvallis Saturday. These two could face each other again next week in the first round 8-9 tourney matchup. Go Bears!
