Great news. I think he’s an NFL caliber tight end prospect and will be a great safety blanket for our next starting QB.

Fantastic! He's not only a good receiver but a really good blocker which is so important for a TE.

Rare to have a TE who is excellent at both. The NFL beckons, but hopefully not until he’s been at Cal for four years.

Great news. With his buddy Nando leaving, I was worried. But I guess he likes the new coaches and serious talent in the QB room, not to mention sees the value of a Cal education and perhaps degree.

Great news. I hope we will be able to sign a few more WRs from the portal. We lost a lot of talent that we have yet to replace.

Anyone have a guess on what an NIL deal would look like for a player of caliber?

Was his return in question? Never saw him listed in or even considering the portal.

In the portal era, many make an announcement of return. Endries made an announcement so the post was created.

Ott, JET, Uluave made an announcement too.
