The athletic department has an opportunity to generate some buzz for the team and school, get some more butts in the seats and eyeballs on the TV and they are…silent. Knowlton is a buffoon. He should be on social media doing whatever he can to bring the most watched and talked about football pregame show to Berkeley, but they can’t be bothered.
Avi, any idea why the University or Athletic department have not gotten behind this effort more formally? Crickets from them, unless I've missed it. I've also tried tweeting to Marshawn and a couple of others but alas to no avail...them I sort of get, given the many calls on them for a variety of things, but not our own institution. Thoughts?
