Justin Wilcox’s California Golden Bears (1-2) trail the Washington Huskies (1-2) at halftime, 10-21.
After going three-and-out on the first drive of the game, the Huskies offense has put up three touchdowns on the scoreboard, as both teams seek their first Pac-12 Conference league win.
The Golden Bears’ defensive woes continued as Washington cornerback Kyler Gordon intercepted quarterback Chase Garbers on the third play of California’s first possession.
California’s secondary has had difficulty stopping Washington redshirt freshman Dylan Morris. Morris passed for 141 yards, completing 11 out of 14 passing attempts, including two touchdowns thrown.
California will hope the 29-yard field goal from Dario Longhetto scored as time expired in the second quarter will give it some momentum in the second half.
The Golden Bears will receive the kick-off after halftime.
Gotta say I think only having subs being able to comment on the insta recap is a swing and a hard miss. Thats one of the bigger sources of engagement, unless it was a setting mistake, I would change that for next week.
