USC may be better than we are and they're 4-5. They have 5 losses by a total of 19 points and wins over LSU and by 3 scores over Wisconsin and Rutgers. That said, we should be 7-2 with at worst a split from among FSU, the U, Pitt, and NC St.
I don't know about this spread. These teams seem pretty evenly matched. I think the game will come down to coaching decisions. Hope the OL does a good job, fingers crossed. Looking forward to the game, should be good football weather. Go Bears!
Cal's four FBS wins this year are against mediocre teams that won't be bowling. Baylor is 5-4 and has wins against bowl-bound TCU and Texas Tech. Cal has to beat somebody of note first. Saturday would be a good start.
Are we the best 5-4 team in the country? Will we be the best 6-4 team in the country come Saturday night?

If we made a few more Liam Johnson-type plays, Rug, boy howdy…could be 7-2 easy now…
Or 9-0...9 points separate us from 4 victories, 2 against ranked opponents.
I like to think so, but history has taught me, "Not so fast."
BTW- Makes us sound like SEC multi-loss teams. lol
Huh I’m surprised we’re favored to win?
Keep digging that same old hole, thinking if I go a little deeper I am go to strike it this time!

Problem with having a favorite team and commenting on a blog about it is you can't in good conscience exploit inefficiencies like Syracuse +270.
