The California Golden Bears (2-2, 1-1 ACC) and Virginia Tech Cavaliers (4-0, 1-0 ACC) will have an early kick-off, according to announcements from Cal Athletics and the Atlantic Coast Conference Monday afternoon.
Cal v. Virginia Tech will be played on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 12:30 p.m. Pacific at Databricks Field at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, Calif.
The Cal v. Virginia Tech college football game will be broadcast nationally on either ESPN2 or the ACC Network.
Last year, Virginia Tech defeated Cal, 42-34, after two overtime periods in Blacksburg, Va.
The Cavaliers started the second overtime with a 7-yard touchdown and ran it in for a two-point conversion. Then, Cal’s star quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele failed to complete a single pass in the following drive to lose the game.
