For the Pac-12 North, @CalFootball & @UW_Football round out the top 3 in the annual preseason poll ๐
#Pac12FB
It begins, the hype is here with Cal gaining notoriety in the conference. With 3 media 1st place in Pac-12 North votes behind Oregonโs 35. The predicted second-place finish looks to be the highest since the 2011 Pac-12 creation. This is both a sign of how much turnover happened within the conference and the continuity of the Cal staff and players.
Can't wait till we beat ASU in their house and then curb stomp the Ducks on the way to a victory over USC in the PAC12 Championship. That'll prove how uninformed these sportswriters actually are. We have a better returning team than ASU, and even with their QB, as long as Garber's stays healthy in this one and we come out ready to play physical, we should win. Likewise, we almost beat Oregon last year in Autzen with Modster driving the bus. UofO has great talent, but I am non plussed by their brainpower and coaching. With Garbers in the game we stand a much better chance of prevailing. One loss that will show up against both these teams is Luc Bequette. I am wondering how he is feeling about his transfer at this point.
First time since 2010 that we are picked above furd
