We should just switch QB and OC in 2H for the rest of this year. Lol

Garbers: 396 passing yards 96 rushing yards 2TD.

A good week: We won't lose any more recruits this week hopefully. Lol

104 yards of offense for Colorado.

Holy shit thatโ€™s amazing

Go Eat A Taco's avatar

would've been nice to the offense play at a higher level in the 2nd half, oh well

Expand full comment
Joseph Kim's avatar

So whose fault is bad offense in 2H? Is it Garbers or Musgrave or something else?

Expand full comment
chowder's avatar

I'd say the penalties and playcalling, which is on the coaches.

Plus Dancy got robbed

Expand full comment
chowder's avatar

Eh, I think his shin was pretty clearly down.

Bongo Bear's avatar

Is anyone else concerned that it looks like weโ€™ll only score 3 points in the second half?

Expand full comment
Old Bear 71's avatar

Yes, especially vs Colorado

Expand full comment
HaasBear's avatar

Yes. But we also changed philosophy a bit which is the right decision with a 17 point lead and the ball to open the half.

Expand full comment
paulie's avatar

Yep but Iโ€™ll worry about that another day :)

Expand full comment
chowder's avatar

I am. Enjoy the win, but Cal is still not a good team.

poor Dancy

Joe Starkey is 80? Time flies...

Go Eat A Taco's avatar

this had better be QB2 or 3 or 4 for Cal on this series

Puzzling

Expand full comment
paulie's avatar

Maybe QB 2-5 ate some bad food

Expand full comment
paulie's avatar

Wait why is Garbers out there

Expand full comment
chowder's avatar

Why Garbers?!?!

Expand full comment
Go Eat A Taco's avatar

using golf parlance, "Cal left a lot of birdies out there on the course today", but a win is a win; and hot dang for that defense...I don't care if this is "just Buffalo".

Expand full comment
Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

Fair enough.

Expand full comment
chowder's avatar

Pick ball? 3rd and long with a fresher QB.

Expand full comment
WilderThanGene's avatar

OK, who is willing to admit they WANTED that blocked FG for TD to stand in order to dump on Ragle more?

Expand full comment
Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

If Ragle is not re-assigned and remains ST Coach next season, it's a huge red flag for Wilcox. If Justin hasn't already seen enough, he never will.

Expand full comment
paulie's avatar

Donโ€™t worry regardless of the outcome I still will dump on Ragle

Expand full comment
chowder's avatar

I want the team to enjoy this and have a good night with as little negativity to dwell on as possible.

Expand full comment
Bongo Bear's avatar

I donโ€™t need a missed field goal to shit on Ragle.

not me lol

Terry is our 4 star TE?

Expand full comment
Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

Yes. 6'4" 270 is NFL size. We shall see.

Expand full comment
Bowlbasaur's avatar

Will Terry burn his RS? I canโ€™t remember if heโ€™ll reach the 4 game limit

Expand full comment
Joseph Kim's avatar

Oh yeah. I forgot about that.

Expand full comment
Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

With the new transfer rule, allowing guys to swap schools with willy-nilly impunity, the RS rule doesn't mean as much. Guys who spend 4 years in the same program are gonna be rare birds.

Expand full comment
Justbear's avatar

He's played in at least 2 games prior that I remember.

Expand full comment
Justbear's avatar

Maybe this is game 4

Expand full comment
Justbear's avatar

Calbears.com says he played vs TCU, Sac State, Washington so we'll see if he plays any more games this year

Expand full comment
Go Eat A Taco's avatar

that's why u play Street, Brooks and Damien get 10 yds on that play; Street gets almost 20 cuz of his burst

Expand full comment
Justbear's avatar

That's why you play Dancey lol

Expand full comment
chowder's avatar

Let's be honest, they each have their strengths and weaknesses. Moore almost never gets tackled by the first guy which is why he gets so much burn in spite of not having the break away speed.

Expand full comment
Justbear's avatar

And Brooks got hit behind LOS but gained positive yards on his last two plays.

Expand full comment
Go Eat A Taco's avatar

agreed. late in the game put in Street when the D is gassed.

Expand full comment
freespeechlover's avatar

Cal needs to score here, so I can do an errand.

Expand full comment
chowder's avatar

the last two marks were favorable to Cal, maybe the refs are ready to call it a day and want Cal to just run out the clock.

Expand full comment
Go Eat A Taco's avatar

peeps it may "just be Buffalo" but this is what Cal is suppose to do against a bad team, thank gawd they are ACTUALLY doing it....

Expand full comment
Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

Still, GEAT, in year 5, they should not be getting win #2 in late OCT with their only 2 wins coming v. awful, overmatched teams...no?

Expand full comment
Go Eat A Taco's avatar

not the point

Expand full comment
Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

Disagree, respectfully Taco. This year is already a disaster and a major red flag for Wilcox and the coaching staff, and wins v FCS Sac St and an awful Colorado team changes nothing.

Expand full comment
Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

If you get 30-3, does Millner get a series towards the end?

Expand full comment
WilderThanGene's avatar

Unless Wilcox can find some OTHER way to disappoint us, I doubt that happens. Its easier to just disappoint us by not playing him.

Expand full comment
Joseph Kim's avatar

Save his redshirt, but QB2 would be nice

Expand full comment
chowder's avatar

This is fun and all, and we have every right to enjoy it, but this is a bad Colorado team, and they look like they don't want to be here.

Expand full comment
Joseph Kim's avatar

We need another win. Let's hold on to a few more recruits.

Expand full comment
Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

Exactly...Cal should be up 35-3 right now...Bears are still as underwhelming as Lincoln Kennedy's delivery.

This is the most sacks we've had vs Colorado since that game Jared Price kept beating Nate Solder.

Expand full comment
chowder's avatar

That was such an odd matchup. Price did very little in all the other games of his career, meanwhile Solder was a number 1 overall pick and was a longtime starting NFL tackle, yet Price shredded him again and again.

Price was so tiny he was going under Solder's legs prbly lol
