Better than last week but ultimately another depressing loss. Holy shit are we BAD on offense! With our current O-line, Plummer is nothing but a tackle dummy. We just don't have the O-line to keep Plummer upright and allow the receivers to get open. As if the news couldn't get worse, the Furd has now won two in a row and Oregon State DESTROYED Colorado, making us look truly pathetic. Prepare for six losses in a row.
Jimmy: You are 100% right! I kept thinking the same thing. It only works if the wide-receivers can get open and the o-line gives the QB time to throw. I don't know why Musgrave doesn't design some plays to roll out the QB or throw quick passes. He seems like a bit of a dinosaur but Wilcox will stick with him through the end of the season.
It's going to be harder and harder to compete in the P12 when you're constantly outgunned at the QB position. Plummer is the 11th best starting QB in the League. Can't win with that.
Watching this offense is like pulling teeth. It should not be like this. Heads need to roll. QB change should be made. There is talent on this offense yet our offense resembles an 0-12 team with a bare cupboard.
Yet another winnable game had the offensive play-calling been remotely competent for a full game. Hats off to the defense - they were clearly gassed the entire second half yet tried the best they could.
IMHO. Being happy with an occasional bowl year and Furd win is what sets us up for continued mediocrity. Honestly, UC Berkeley needs to shit or get off the pot. I am tired of another half-ass P5 football effort.
Hoping this O returns intact is wishful thinking, I fear.
Given the proliferation of the NIL and the transfer portal, it would be a wonderful surprise to get everyone back. Unfortunately, we're likely looking at another year of Jack Plummer, and I think many of us have seen enough.
So, Plummer gets the message at halftime to get the ball out quick. And then forgets his instructions on the last game critical drive and puts himself in a 3rd and LONG where the D pins back their ears and comes. OK.
So what would we rather have: Non-existent offense in the first half and tired defense in the second like we're seeing now? Or functional offense in the first, but complete turtle in the second?

4-8 is the new ceiling. Maybe we beat Furd but that's it.
Continuously calling plays that require 5 and 7 step drops is a puzzler.
When you drop 5 or 7 steps, those throws 2 yards past LOS look like a long pass

Where's the screen game?
Where's the 3-step drop?
Where are the quick slants?
Where are designed roll outs?
Where is moving of the pocket?
There was one slant in the Redzone to Sturdivant which should have been a TD with a catch.
It wasn't by design but a roll out got our first TD.
Need to do them more often.

It speaks poorly on Wilcox that he has failed to develop a QB in his tenure.
Whiffing on 2 OC hires speaks poorly. Does he get a chance at a 3rd? Does he do any better if so?
These are the questions.
Our right tackle is complete garbage
Watching this offense is like pulling teeth. It should not be like this. Heads need to roll. QB change should be made. There is talent on this offense yet our offense resembles an 0-12 team with a bare cupboard.
Plummer should be pulled to protect his long term health anyway. The season is over so let Millner play
Maybe the O line is that bad after all...I thought they had some decent players, but this ineptitude is tough to swallow.
Why TF isn't Musgrave in the booth? How much can he actually see from the sideline? He is not Andy Reid.
He can't big mystery also Plummer was trying to talk to him on the sidelines and Musgrave was making hand gestures. Plummer looked pissed.
It looks like Buhs defense but this is year 6 with a bunch of experienced players and not a lot of injured on offense.
Welp that's not the result we wanted.
Yet another winnable game had the offensive play-calling been remotely competent for a full game. Hats off to the defense - they were clearly gassed the entire second half yet tried the best they could.
And the D would not have been gassed by 4th quarter and give up two TDs.
D has now played well enough to win in all 4 losses.
With even an average O, we likely win @ ND and @ Colorado, and maybe this game. Could easily be 5-2, but for complete futility.

O-line is bad, no doubt about it.
But Jack Plummer is not the answer. He's not a Pac 12 QB.
Not sure what QB can succeed with an O-line that can’t run or pass block
Well Vegas had it right
They are magicians, I don’t know how they do it.
Tough loss
Giving another team their 1st
We're the Care Bears.
We've been great at that
Not a blowout loss but still befuddling offense
No point in playing Plummer the rest of the season. No bowl so may as well see what Milner or the other QBs have.
This team is a disaster. Everyone on the offensive staff should be fired immediately. The longer we wait the more transfers we’ll endure.

Isn't Plummer a one year rental as a grad transfer?
Okay. Better than I expected. But...
Why didn’t Plummer run there????
Because he’s got 1 working knee and probably shouldn’t even be out there?
Yeah he should have
Who was he throwing that to?
Good use of our time ref. Thanks.
Free timeout
Bro catch that come on
J Mike gotta catch that
Yet another rotten Plummer play.
With a real offense we’d have a chance here
With a real offense, we’re 5-2
Either the clock is gonna run out or Plummer gets sacked 3x
3 sack
Wait why did we use our timeout? Clock shouldn’t be running?
We let 40 seconds run to save 25
😂
They would’ve run 25 seconds. But now it’s 40
Whaaa?
Terrible holding call by ref but ill take it
Lol refs been good to us
Bless the ref
Goodnight everyone, talk to you on DBD,
Stay safe GBIII
Fuck me

Yep when the game was on the line he reverted
Fire everyone. My god.
This offensive line…
Plummer is brutal. That sack was unacceptable.
The first sack was 100% on Plummer. The 2nd one was just a disaster.
That’s the one I’m talking about. Plummer is not an instinctual quarterback
Pitiful
What a dumb play call
They sent 4 and all of them broke through.
You can’t scheme your way past that.
The dagger was the sack he took on 1st down. Terrible play by Plummer.
Was talking about 2nd down.
Pathetic
Fucking OL
Plummer is horrid.
Plummer injured...
Turtleing
Throw the ball
Let’s steal this one
Come on bears!
when did we use our first timeout in the 2nd half?
Before the short field trips on UW touchdown. It was the same formation apparently
just before UW scored the tug with trips to the short side of the field.
Adjusting the defense for the UW touchdown
Jackson Sermon is the General on the field...he's making the on field adjustments.
Cal gets ball back!
So what would we rather have: Non-existent offense in the first half and tired defense in the second like we're seeing now? Or functional offense in the first, but complete turtle in the second?
Play of the game coming right now.
Gotta get a STOP
Turnover our only hope
Need a turnover or penalty. We’re not going to outright stop thwm
