The fourth quarter was a disaster and too many mistakes in alignment and missed tackles, but damn does this team have a high ceiling.
UCLA is going to be very good this year, and we damn near pulled it out with a new HC and two new coordinators. UCLAs staff is new to ucla but had been together for years.
The last several series were a disaster, from the 4th down play that wasn’t to the fluke interception off Strong’s hands to the Mini miscommunication interception. And I’m disappointed that JKS was still in there at the end.
But while it’s tough to look past the disappointment right now, I saw some encouraging moments in the game, and still have hope for a good season. Need JKS healthy no matter what.
We’re gonna play half a dozen teams that are not as good as UCLA this year, and the coaches will get more opportunities to build an identity and educate guys on their responsibilities too. This is not the “sky is falling, Tosh didn’t work out” moment some people are making it out to be
We’re not good, but at least we have a little bit of heart. Looking forward to seeing what things look like when the Tosh recruitment advantage actually has a chance to show up.
It hurts but I’m encouraged by the toughness our team showed. They need to clean a bunch of things up, chiefly tackling. We need to keep supporting them or we don’t deserve it.

This is disappointing. It is not just losing the game. We were not able to recover and bounce back from mistakes in Q4 - that was hard to watch. .

Muha was awesome tonight.
Had the results been the opposite, we would be partying and saying National Championship. That's how much the UCLA team is going to enjoy this win.

Missed five home games in the past 35 years. But I made it up multiple times over in away games and bowl games :-)

Absolute disaster of a 4th quarter, but the team bounced back after things started sliding in the 2nd. Keeping faith we'll bounce back next game.

As much as I trust that we will get better, not being able to stop the runs by RB and QB is concerning and looks like the same old team
