What a sigh of relief! Although we aren't executing on all cylinders yet, Tosh does have the team playing hard and gutting it out for a win. Tosh and our new play caller, Pat MaCain, deserve some extra credit.
I was relieved to see our Pat and our special teams taking some calculated gambles. James Franklin's conservatism, unfortunately for him, came back to bite him.
Wow. I had somewhere to go just after VaTech scored the first touchdown. Our offense hadn’t done anything and defense was again giving up big yardage plays so I didn’t feel bad not watching. What a surprise when I got home just now. Have to check the ACCN schedule during the week to find a replay.
For all the disdain we have given our coaching staff this year, you have to give it to them that they made just enough adjustments to eke out this win. They clearly have a long way to go still but the dedication and resolve of our players to gut this one out is representative of the spirit of the Bear. It's a great day for Oski today!

Typical, crazy Cal win that pulls a lot of us back from the edge (myself included). So happy for the players.
Our backups won this game and made the most of their opportunity.
We probably should just spread our money around and just get solid players and avoid concentrating our funds on the 5 star dudes.

Agree 100% we're lucky to have a QB as good as Brousseau as a backup and our offense looked so much better than under Somerville
