As much as I want/wanted Jackson in at quarterback - he doesn't check his progressions does he? It's one read and throw? Or is that just due to this garbage time?
Did not the reliable Furd kicker have misses that caused them the game today? Only briefly glanced at the game on mute but could have sworn I saw at least two misses. Kudos to T Taylor for keeping them in the game.

I walked 2-miles back to the AirBnB, just in time to see Luckhurst flub another PAT. Left lots of time for Cal reflection. Look, if you’re gonna try and win games the Wilcox way, it’s inexcusable to have such poor PK production. What are we even doing here. We shouldn’t be getting boat raced by any team in year 7 of a HC, let alone by a squad that has had 4 different head coaches during Wilcox’s time.
He should and will be fired - it’s just a matter of when…he doesn’t do a lot of things well, and the most important one for this program’s survival is winning. The longer he’s here, the worse it is for the program when the next, and likely final, round of realignment comes around.
I mean, you’re just spinning your wheels the longer this drags out. You can’t even say he graduates his players anymore because so many of them transferred away, which is going to negatively impact his grad rates.
Don't we have a freshman kicker? I know it's important to give your players trust, but Luckhurt has lost us one game and not given us any reason to to trust him before or since.
Is it legal to just pick the football up and throw it through the uprights? I'm not good at sports but that sounds like a better option than what we are doing.

We did vs North Texas and he was god awful

We weren't going to win this game in any case, but we could have at least not made it so damn easy for them by throwing picks and not covering punts.

yeah there's a backup and Luckhurst is just hurting himself now. needs to sit and regroup for a future opportunity here or elsewhere
