After watching that scintillating game replete with amazing defensive prowess and impressive offensive ingenuity - I'd like ANYONE to make the argument that Cal shouldn't be in the National Championship picture?
the game was a little backwards from the start. WE are supposed to be the ones who give up a long touchdown on a fumbled QB sneak that is ultimately the difference in the game..
every defender wants a Pick, but the correct play is to spike the ball into the ground. (Back in the old days, Terry Donahue used to invite one of the volleyball coaches to practice to teach guys how to spike the Hail Mary.)
I was actually thinking about the Goff 3rd down punts at that moment, and fact that our punter at the time wore the same number as him. That funny little trickster Dykes.
If time runs out and the players go to the locker room, they will be called back to the field for the Cougs to get another attempt at the beginning of the 3rd half.

A win is a win. But the ball should have been caught by the Wazzu receiver. That would have been horrific but no worse than than the Arizona Hail Mary
Wazzu ran 97 plays to our 57. Usually when the other team runs 40 more plays, you get pummeled.
