Pac-12 Network to Air Cal v. Washington State Football
Match-up against the Cougars will be the Golden Bears' third game in a row televised by the Pac-12 Network
The California Golden Bears’ in-conference match-up against the Washington State Cougars will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 2, at 2:30 p.m. Pacific.
The Pac-12 Network will broadcast California’s second Pac-12 Conference game live from FTX Field at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, Calif. The competition will be the Golden Bears’ third game in a row televised by the conference-owned Pac-12 Network.
California has not faced off against Washington State since Nov. 9, 2019, a 33-20 victory at California Memorial Stadium. The two Pac-12 North teams did not compete last year because California did not have enough players to field a competitive football team due to the impact of COVID-19 contact-tracing protocols on the defensive line.
The Golden Bears lead the series against the Cougars with an all-time 48-28-5 record.
The California v. Washington State college football game is Cal’s 2021 homecoming game.
It would be nice if we were good enough to be on on normal TV. Not TV, that no one can see!
Silver lining: mid-day time instead of Pac-12 after dark. As much as I love me some chaos, not being on the east coast makes it very tiring to stay up for the game and being woken up the next morning at 6am by my two young kids.
