I want USC to lose, and it's not even close. I've no hard feelings towards Dykes. I enjoyed the Dykes years of Cal football much more than the Wilcox years.
I always say: My two most favorite teams are Cal and whoever is playing U$C! I know Sonny, although not well, but know he is a Texan at heart and ultimately wanted to go back home. His wife just couldn’t fit into the Bay Area culture which not everyone does—especially if you are from places like Texas. If you want a great read about how screwed up things at U$C can be, look up Bad City on Amazon. It is amazing. The guy who wrote the book, Paul Pringle, won a Pulitzer for his effort.
