The NYT ran an article about Trump Org's ex-CFO Allen Weisselberg would admit to perjury in a plea deal with the Manhattan DA regarding Trump's NY civil fraud case.

Judge Engoron was like "wut? what perjury plea bargain"

.

Alina Habba - who is also defending Weisselburg in the civil case - responded with a "I know nothing" letter.

If Weisselburg does cop a plea, it essentially nullifies all the testimony that Weisselburg gave. It also puts Habba in ethical jeopardy should Judge Engoran pursue that path of disciplining her for using evidence known to be tainted by perjury. Wesselburg wrote tart emails to defense counsel telling them that they should probably shut up about suggesting that he's unethically biased.
