I know a joke related to today's DBD about Sophia Lorean, Gina Lollabrigitta, and Virginia, but it doesn't work when you write the whole thing down....
Evan Corcoran - one of the few competent lawyers on Trump's legal team (the one handling the Secret Documents hiding case) has quit. Apparently, he told the truth to a Grand Jury that Trump told him to obstruct justice. He will still likely be subpeened by Jack Smith.
Speaker Johnson and Trump want to push a bill through the House to ban non-US Citizens from voting in US elections. I would guess that the senior US lawmakers who tried to overthrow US democracy via a coup in 2020 is greater than the number of illegal immigrants who tried to vote
Warriors in a 3-way tie for 8-9-10th places in NBA play in after beating Portland last night.
they have 2 very winnable games left and could be as high as 8 if things go well. on the other hand, the W's seem to make it as hard as possible on themselves at all times ..
Dear Mr. Watterson (Netflix, 8/19 WNB). It's a fan love letter to the comic strip Calvin & Hobbes. I am a huge fan. I literally have only two books on my nightstand - one being the compendium of C&H - but it lacks Watterson himself or much actual C&H content, but a lot of talking heads about how they they loved the comic. The film does feature Stephan Pastis (UC Berkeley, BA Poli Sci 1989) of Pearls before Swine fame. Skip this doc.
Also, what the hell is the law school teaching these kids? For real, they think they have a first amendment right to speak at a private residence where they are invited as a guest? That's an automatic F in Con Law!
The student for being a rude guest (at best) and totally misunderstanding the effectiveness of her "protest". The student joins the Shops with a Fist brigade.
Dean Chereminksy is Jewish, so this is in exceptionally poor taste. You can see Chereminsky & Fisk revoke her easement right by notifying her that she is no longer welcome at their house. The student's insistence that 1st Amendment rights allows her to trespass clearly shows she doesn't understand the law.
Berkeley's Adventure Playground makes the list for unique kids playground. We had a giant sun-baked asphalt surface that was uneven with a basketball court with no nets
Texas Longhorns LB S'Maje Burrell and DT T'Vondrae Sweat identified as drivers in a car accident on Sunday, the latter being arrested for DUI. Both players were suspended indefinitely from the team.

I see that the DBD has entered a time machine.
What do we want?
Time Machines?
When do we want them?
It doesn't matter!
I foresee a new adventure, the Four Body Problem.
We are the future.
OSKI DISCIPLE’S TRIVA FUN, A DAILY DBD FEATURE
According to the Bureau of Erroneous Statistics, the most popular recreational activity in the United States is whaling.
(All trivia verified by the International Trivia Foundation.)
Funny, I misread the first phrase as "enormous statistics" and I thought, well, whaling does sound like an enormous activity!
The Republican Party and Trumpy in particular regularly utilize the Bureau of Erroneous Statistics.
Farhan Zaidi uses a similar line of statistics when putting together a Major League Baseball team.
Careful. Farhan probably misapplies statistics. I don't think he makes them up.
We’ll never know.
A famous example of this is the crowd size of DiJiT's inauguration. Alternative Facts are an outgrowth of Erroneous Statistics.

From Reddit: The stock price fell to $31. Once it hits the mid-teens, then Matt Gaetz will get interested in it.

Well, he thinks for himself. That is a danger to the establishment. The facts that he says so clearly makes it true.
Obviously very early, but three Bears in the top 15 at Augusta.
