BERKELEY – With seeding in the upcoming Pac-12 Championship on the line, the 28th-ranked California men's tennis team travels to the Pacific Northwest this week to conclude the regular season. The Golden Bears (11-8, 3-3 Pac-12) face 55th-ranked Oregon (12-11, 1-5) on Friday at 1:30 p.m. PDT at the Student Tennis Center and take on 56th-ranked Washington (10-10, 1-5) on Sunday at noon. The match in Seattle will take place either outdoors at the Quillian Tennis Stadium or indoors at the Nordstrom Tennis Center.
Cal is currently in fifth place in the Pac-12 Conference standings and could finish as high as third place by the end of the weekend.

The matchup between two of the top teams in men's collegiate rowing will be for the Schoch Cup, given to the winner of the varsity eight race each year. The cup is named after Delos Schoch of Washington's class of 1936. Schoch lettered three years (1934-36) as a Husky rower.

Schumacher is one of five finalists to emerge from a list of 15 nominees representing the nation's top collegiate rugby programs. The winner will be chosen by a selection committee and the player awarded will be celebrated at the Washington Athletic Club's annual gala event on June 10 in Seattle.

They didn’t like that so they went to LV and are trying to use the fact of their approval here to leverage LV for Raiders-like taxpayer subsidies there (there is a vote in June/July about this). Billionaires forum shopping for taxpayer subsidies for their own enrichment is fucking gross and should be illegal, as Corey Booker has proposed. The City of Oakland and the Port should revoke their approval of the Howard Terminal project immediately so they can’t be used as a stalking horse like this. Fuck these guys to fucking hell.

Granted he switched gloves like the umpire asked and I guess they found more of it after he came back out. But if it really was just rosin then the HP umpire was wrong. Also, this is the same umpire that had the staredown with MadBum earlier in the year.
