4-6, 6-2, and in the deciding 10-pt super tie-break we lost 7-10.
our team won 3-1. so that is good.
FYI .. i am mediocrely ok at tennis. 3.0 level in case that means anything to anyone. you only play other people at your level, to keep it civil and competitive.
Someone I knew growing up has coached off and on with Jason Kidd. At one point during the game last night I did a net search and it turns out he’s back with Kidd as an assistant with the Mavs this year.
Outlaw / King (Netflix 14/19 WB). An above-average historical action film starring Chris Pine (UC Berkeley BA English 2002). It follows a semi-accurate account of Scottish hero Robert Bruce and his struggles against the dirty evil English. The highlight of the film is the opening scene, which is one long single-cut tracking shot that packed a lot of information in it while still be immensely entertaining. I'm not sure what about Florence Pugh makes her look great in her roles despite not being traditionally Hollywood beautiful and being put into unflattering situations.
FSU is issuing $372.3m in revenue bonds to renovate their stadium and build a new football-related building. Good to see that we're not the only ACC saddle with facilities related expenses.

Lately, I've been par-boiling wax potatoes wedges and them roasting them with a mix of garlic oil, harissa, and Asiago cheese. Hell yeah.
this sounds good. i like potatoes well enough but i dont spend a lot of time making them taste good compared to main dishes and other veggies.
maybe i should try harder.
also, dinner is usually pasta or rice based. so less potatoes going on ..
