we own one but i never go on it mostly because it gives me a motion sickness feeling. the kids seemed to like it for a while. now mostly neighbor children use it.

my wife seems to get some unreasonable amount of joy in having it despite how expensive it was and how much of a liability it is. and then is unreasonably conservative with risks that are much less risky ...

Michael Cohen is testifying in the Trump business fraud case in NYC. So far, Cohen said that Trump doesn't have an email because he didn't want a paper trail going back to him when he committed crimes.

in case anyone thought it was going to be easy for Biden .. my wife is convinced that Trump's support will erode if the hush money trial goes against him. i am skeptical it will make any difference either way.

Trump Leads in 5 Key States, as Young and Nonwhite Voters Express Discontent With Biden

I remain convinced that the NYT methodology for polls is "what gets anxious liberals to click through," never mind their rather petty irritation with Biden.

I have learned to despise the New York Times with their concern trolling and their focus on disaffected white voters who end up voting for Trump, as if solving their problems would relegate Trump to permanent private citizen status.

I remain doubtful of the NYT's supposed liberalism. I am more inclined to believe that they are actually trying to sabotage the Democratic party.

I am similarly skeptical, but it may have an effect on voters in the middle: those who see a criminal conviction as disqualifying. The problem is we don't know who those folks are and if they move the needle as a group.

The 21 year old Pittsburg rookie who is dating Livvy Dunne made his major league debut. He threw 84 pitches for 54 strikes over 4 innings, but surrendered 6 hits, 2 BB, 3 ER (one HR), and beaned a batter - but he struck out 7 and 17 of those pitches were over 100 mph. The Pirates then put in three relievers that surrendered 7 runs on 7 batters including 6 bases loaded walks. And the Pirates still won.

He also has the body type to hopefully be able to handle throwing 100+ without injury. See Nolan Ryan.

Well, so did Prior and Strasburg…Ryan Express may have just been a freak, because he could roll out there now and shut out the Giants.

True. But Prior wasn't that big. It seems like he's more like Kerry Wood. Strasburg seemed to be larger than Prior.

for the last 2 years after my last accident, i am exclusively riding indoors these days. it is not quite the same, enjoyable in its own special way.

that being said, my wife and i went on a short Mothers Days ride this weekend. it was my first time riding outdoors since the last accident. it was good in the sense that it was nice to be outside and the short easy ride was good for my wife to get out of the way since she had a lot of nervousness about it.
