The symbol of Belfast is a seahorse, honoring the city’s maritime history. Early merchants printed the creature on their coins throughout the 17th Century, and two seahorses still feature on Belfast’s coat of arms. You’ll also spot seahorses around the city, including the seahorse sculpture at Belfast’s port and the glowing seahorse logo on the side of the lofty Grand Central Hotel.
I need to get my tire pressure sensors replaced: $450 for the parts at the dealer, $400 at Don's Tires, and under $300 at Costco, BUT Costco only does repairs if you got your tires from them. So, moral of the story, buy your tires at Costco!

Pundits say J6 is not just punditry. It's building a strong legal case to lay at the DOJ's feet against Trump. And not small stuff: Corruption, Obstruction, Conspiracy. Like jail for the rest of his life, God willing.
This. Merrick Garland and company have a golden opportunity to demonstrate how the US treats people who try to stage coups. Meek action here ensures it happens again in the near future.
J6 Committee details the quarter billion dollar raise by the "Save America" PAC that was supposed to raise funds to litigate the so-called stolen election. J6 raises the question that the rest of us already know - almost none of it went to its so-called purpose and it was siphoned off to Trump interests.
Where did the other $240 million go? They only detailed where $7.2 million went, I want to know where is the rest of that money and what was/is it being used for.
The US came within a gnat's fart of a full coup. Trump was obsessed with voter fraud that didn't exist. Barr resigned. Then his replacement Rosen took office, backed up by Dept AG Donoghue. Trump lined up a filing for Rosen to file to overturn the election. Rosen & Donoghue pushed back. Trump persisted. Barely known lawyer Jeffrey Clark - an environmental lawyer - started meeting Trump behind his bosses back to pursue Trump's wishes. Rosen couldn't fire Clark because he was a Presidential appointee. Clark went behind Rosen's back again and convinced Trump to replace Rosen with himself because he would support all of Trump's Qanon conspiracy theory BS. Trump got everyone in a room together and told Rosen that he was thinking of firing him and replacing him with Clark. Everyone but Clark said they would resign in protest and Trump relented, instead going after Pence to get him to overturn the election. Three days later, Pence refused to overturn the election, Trump rallied the J6 mob and the Capitol insurgency happened.
That's a shame. It's always sad to see a large corpus of online activity disappear overnight like that, even if the site had already become a ghost town.

Pecan, blueberry, peach, key lime, Dutch apple, American. We live at a part of the country where we can get great/fresh examples of pecans, blueberries, and peaches. I am convinced that people have never had the freshly roasted version of various nuts. Nuts skins go acrid and the oil in the meat goes rancid very quickly. A freshly roasted pecan pie is fucking sublime. A pecan pie from a grocery store is usually mealy, rancid, and gross. Also, key limes are so rare and expensive that I'm convinced that 99% of key lime pies are not made with key limes and instead made with sweetened standard "Persian" lime juice. And actually, Persian limes are a cross-hybrid between key limes and a common lemon. I also object to a pie needing a sugar crumb topping to make it taste good. If the filling can stand on it's own - sugar top should be the worst part of the pie.
A note about this list - if we're talking about California peaches in a pie, it very definitely comes in 5th. If we're talking about peaches grown in Hunterdon County, NJ, it could vault its way up to Numero Uno; everyone else moves down a notch.
Having said that, the best Dutch apple pies I've ever had also came from Hunterdon County, NJ. The apples are better there, I think. My rankings of the Dutch Apple, Key Lime, and Blueberry are not rock solid in that depending on my mood and want, any of those three could be above the other two.
pecan, key lime, Dutch Apple, blueberry, peach .................................................................................Don McLean sucks ass and he should punch himself in the face every day
There was a place that I used to drink at regularly in Singapore right next to Chinatown. They would have big boxes of dried seahorses sitting out as traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). It smells faintly of the sea and chicken that's gone off. Dried seahorses are used in TCM to treat asthma and to treat problems with your peen. Poor seahorses.

It’s always risky signing a pitcher after he goes deep in post season. Especially a guy like that who puts the team on his back. I remember Hamels having similar issues after whatever series that was, 2008 I think
Jaylen Brown was a non factor in the game. Missed all three point shots he took, and just one or two of them made in the 4th, would have made the game more competitive and made him a factor. Disappointing showing for him.

Fantastic defense by the Warriors all around as well.
If the Celtics could bottle the defensive intensity of the first 6 minutes of the 3rd quarter, they would have a fighting chance at winning the next two. Too much complaining to the refs and not enough intensity throughout the game. The refs seemed to allow a lot of contact around the rim and C's did not adjust. The only clearly blown call was when Klay Thompsen pushed off Smart for a step back three. That was pretty egregious.
I liked the no calls around the basket, but that was definitely a blown call and should have been blown. You can't allow a guy to push off, then step back into a three. Offense has enough advantage in today's game as it is.
the Celtics are good w/ their 7 people, they just dont seem to have the same depth at the Warriors to keep up the consistency and intensity for the full 7 x 48 min
This was my thought as well, if the series is extended the Dubs will have the horses to keep going, Boston probably not. Williams III looked a step slower last night.

In a neat little town they call Belfast
Apprentice to a trade I was bound
And many's an hour's sweet happiness
Have I spent in this neat little town.
A sad misfortune came over me
Which caused me to stray from the land
Far away from my friends and relations
Betrayed by the black velvet band.
Her eyes they shone like diamonds
I thought her the queen of the land
And her hair hung over her shoulders
Tied up with a black velvet band.
I took a stroll down Broadway
Meaning not long for to stay
When who should I meet but this pretty fair maid
Came a traipsing along the highway
She was both fair and handsome
Her neck it was just like a swans'
And her hair is hung over her shoulder
Tied up with a black velvet band.
Her eyes they shone like diamonds
I thought her the queen of the land
And her hair hung over her shoulders
Tied up with a black velvet band.
I took a stroll with this pretty fair maid
And the gentleman passing us by
Well I knew she meant the doing of him
By the look in her roguish black eye
A gold watch she took from his pocket
And placed it right into my hand
And the very first thing I said was
Bad 'cess to the black velvet band.
Her eyes they shone like diamonds
I thought her the queen of the land
And her hair hung over her shoulders
Tied up with a black velvet band.
Before the judge and the jury
Next morning I had to appear
And the judge he said to me 'Young man
Your case is proven clear'
We'll give you seven years penal servitude
To be spent far away from the land
Far away from your friends and companions
Betrayed by the black velvet band.
Her eyes they shone like diamonds
I thought her the queen of the land
And her hair hung over her shoulders
Tied up with a black velvet band.

Jaylen Brown was a non factor in the game. Missed all three point shots he took, and just one or two of them made in the 4th, would have made the game more competitive and made him a factor. Disappointing showing for him.
He is kind of like Wiggins actually - very skilled but has a tendency towards passivity that makes him disappear for stretches or whole games
Lat night I watched an NBA game for the first time this season. It was a disappointing showing from JB.
Wiggs is locking guys down on D like Klay used to. Really all around playing so well. I think they kind of have to give him a max extension. Dray and Klay are good but fading. Of core trio, only Steph is still playing at his best
Strange game, too much acting, flopping, playing to the officials. And Curry missed EVERY 3! wild.
Very weird game, but Wiggins showing why he was an All Star starter. There was a lot of acting on both sides and Draymond fouled out on a foul Curry committed. Even with all the flopping the refs seemed to swallow their whistles on a lot of potential fouls, which this time around benefitted the Warriors. We'll see if they want to have an impact on Game 6. Fantastic defense by the Warriors all around as well.
I bet Scott Foster refs game 6 to ensure there is a game 7. I bet there's going to be lots of quick whistles at the beginning of game 6.
Yup. Be nice to get 6 but figure this is going 7…
I don't think the Celtics are going to win 2 in a row, but I'm expecting a game 7
He did push off, but Smart flew back like he got pulled back using the thing action stars use. No way Klay pushed him that hard.
Oh I agree, Smart clearly oversold it. Undoubtedly though, gave Klay the space to launch a three. It was definitely a foul.
And the ref staring at him, like you aren't getting that call.
Agree, I like Smart, but that was a flop, and good no call I thought
Yeah, I'm glad the ref didn't reward such an exaggerated flop.
I liked the no calls around the basket, but that was definitely a blown call and should have been blown. You can't allow a guy to push off, then step back into a three. Offense has enough advantage in today's game as it is.
They'd also have to bottle making 8 three pointers in a row.
This Celtics team has crazy variance on their threes.
If they could sustain a modicum of defensive intensity they started 3Q with, the offense would sort itself out.
They were so worried about losing the third that they left nothing in tank for fourth. They looked out of gas down the stretch
the Celtics are good w/ their 7 people, they just dont seem to have the same depth at the Warriors to keep up the consistency and intensity for the full 7 x 48 min
This was my thought as well, if the series is extended the Dubs will have the horses to keep going, Boston probably not. Williams III looked a step slower last night.

ECU had a higher seed because they were the auto-qualifier from a so-so Conference while Texas was a mid-tier in a Conference of Death.
