Yeah the game last year was like playing an FCS team. But, they did get Maalik Murphy and a bunch of guys in portal; I guess every year is a near total reset nowadays
Cal football general manager Ron Rivera will be a weekly guest on KNBR 680 AM and 104.5 FM's Murph & Markus Show every Wednesday at 8:50 a.m. PT during the 2025 football season beginning Wednesday, Aug. 27.
Rivera is in his first season as the Cal football general manager and has complete oversight of the program in the newly created role.
Sometimes you just run into the best team in the league with the best pitcher in the league on the mound. And sometimes you don’t care. The A’s were not intimated by the Cy Young favorite or the Tigers on Monday evening, rallying late to beat Detroit 8-3 to kick start the three-game series that looks like it’ll be competitive all throughout. If you want to be the best…
A comprehensive win for the Dodgers as Andy Pages and Emmet Sheehan carried the load in this 7-0 defeat of the Reds, taking advantage of the Padres’ loss to open up a one-game lead in a tight NL West race.
The second half hasn’t been too kind to Pages, which helps explain him batting eighth against one of the toughest right-handed starters in the big leagues. At least for one game, though, Pages showed why he has a .933 OPS at home, helping Los Angeles break through against Hunter Greene with a couple of homers against the Reds’ ace.
Mets come back to beat Phillies at home. i was at this one
shut out thru 4 innings and losing 3-0 it didnt look good for the Mets. bats came alive with 2 outs in the bottom of the 4th and then there was scoring in each of the next 5 innings.
fun game to be at. great crowd, beautiful summer evening, etc
Trump forgets to put makeup on his hand. We get to see his really bruised hand. If I were to guess, it's bruising from people fighting back against his famous arm tug hand shake.
I was gonna say it's probably bruising from an IV. He could be getting diuretics to deal with the cankles. The cankles are an indicator of a serious condition, edema, which as many here know is a buildup of fluid in the body.
My MIL had this in June and July. Her doctors, at one point, suggested that she was going to cash it in because she wasn't shedding the fluid fast enough. It was at least partly a kidney problem, but it was also a heart problem as the heart doesn't pump vigorously enough to help the liver and kidneys to do their functions and rid the body of toxins and excess fluids.
Indeed, persistent edema *could* indicate failure of a major organ.
Smells like desperation to me. Prosecutors hoping to avoid a trial and his counterclaims by trying to force him into a settlement by being heavy handed. Seems like is mot taking the bait - good!
It's pretty obvious that's what they're doing. Wasn't the whole argument that they needed to bring him back from El Salvador so he could stand trial for the obvious human trafficking he was doing? Now they want to deport him to a random country again? That means they don't have the goods.
My run this morning took me by the Lincoln, FDR, and Jefferson memorials. There were more guardsmen walking around than there were other people. Most, but not all, were carrying their weapons.
TIL: The Stanford plain Block S they had on their helmets was until 2014. They rebranded in 2015 to put a tree in it. The plain Block S is now banned per their brand guide.

CAL
Cal @ OSU odds narrow from +3 to +2. I still find it odd that Cal is an underbear.

Cal included
I think it is definitely the known quantity QB (even if only known in Dookie blue), and a known OSU RB. Sooooo many unknowns for Cal.
The national narrative is that we lost our offense because we suck, not because we changed our entire offensive coaching staff.
I think you should become Oski

Could that be from a needle? Like for fluids or drugs?

They should allow it for throwback use. And marketing a line of fan gear. Some places the throwback/historic designs are the best sellers.
I love the blue Joe Roth jersey and helmet. Furd will never take note of this though.

How many receptions will Endries get? Too soon?
Yes too soon!
With Arch Manning throwing to him? I say at least 4.
