Here’s what I actually want to talk about: 2023. Because, despite technically having a case of the Still In This Things, the Giants are playing for 2023. They’re playing to figure some things out.

IF are JT, TT, Muncy, FF, Lux, Hanser. Will Smith and Barnes catching. so that's 12 which I think leaves one more spot. Not sure there is another position player they'd bring up to replace him.

College attendance has been in decline for years. I imagine that trend will continue for the majority of schools.
Looks great, but that's a ton of money to spend for a stadium that will struggle to fill up all those seats.
Not that that consideration was a consideration when Cal did their stadium project. (The ton of money for an empty stadium part, not the looks part.)
That was not in consideration because the *reduced* capacity of Cal memorial v2.0 was *less* than what Cal was drawing during the height of the Tedford era. The clear expectation was that Cal would continue to draw crowds in excess of 60K after the renovated stadium debuted.
Too bad it didn't happen.
I want to point out that $800 million is 90% greater than $421 million. And the Northwestern project almost certainly does not have to design for seismic forces.
But what is that in todays dollars and with inflation?!?

The return of Portland Thorns defender Crystal Dunn highlights the 24-player roster selected by United States women's national team manager Vlatko Andonovski for matches against England and Spain, though a knee injury has prevented San Diego Wave forward Alex Morgan from taking part.
The U.S. will play the Lionesses on Oct. 7 at London's Wembley Stadium, followed by the Spain match four days later at the El Sadar Stadium in Pamplona. Andonovski will name 23 players to suit up for each of the matches.
