My social media is covered with shots of the aurora borealis last night. Wife and I drove to a relatively dark place. We couldn't really see it as there was still enough light pollution that you couldn't be sure. As it turns out, most of the shots were taken with "night shot" option on people's phones. If you can't see it with your naked eye, does it really count?
