Colorado’s mascot is the buffalo. After losing, I think it is appropriate to be pedantic and point out that Colorado’s mascot is a bison, which is not a true buffalo. Buffalo = the Bubalina sub-tribe, which includes the genus for Cape Buffalo, water buffalo, and some dwarf buffaloes. Bison are part of the Bovina sub-tribe, which also includes cows. So, suck it CU, you’re cow-adjacent, not buffaloes.
