There is a lot more support for Oregon's head coach's ability to assemble a winning combination than there is for USC's. DC-T is not the only Helton skeptic, just the 2nd most skeptical (behind Petros P).
There are numerous very good ones. Some are good due to the performance, some for the story/plot, some for the visuals. A few that I like/recall/think are good:
In fact to amplify that, I never watched MTV, and later, when I discovered some music videos of bands I liked, I was mortified, loved the songs, hated the goofy videos.

fish eggs of all varieties, but it doesnt quite do them justice to lump them all together
the standard sushi ones .. masago, ikura, tobiko

My mom's family has a chicken farm in Taiwan. When they first started, my grandparents twisted chicken wire by hand. Over the years, it's slowly grown; when I was little, I would sometimes stand at the end of a row and collect eggs from the conveyer belt with my great-grandmother. Later, they brought in German technology so the chicken house is one building and the packaging is in another building to cut down on the possibility of cross-contamination (there are other measures in place, of course).
Our family's eggs were the first in Taiwan to be "branded." You can still go to a supermarket and get "unbranded" eggs (they come from some conglomerate? wherever the company sources them from), and some markets and general stores still have open crates of eggs, and you just buy however many you want that day, but our family really built a brand based on hygienic conditions and nutritious feed resulting in a better egg (plus, the chickens listen to classical music), which led to other people increasing their quality (and prices), too.
If you've had a SunnyHills pineapple cake, then you've had my family's eggs!
FET our four chickens started laying eggs a few months ago. We thought we'd get about 2 eggs per day, but those girls are consistently laying every single day. We're drowning in eggs, so we're trying all sorts of different quiche recipes, having hard boiled eggs as snacks and on salads, and giving away plenty of eggs to the neighbors.
I did find a really good small place in Newark to get Peking Duck to go. New Hwong Kok in Newark behind the Newpark mall in the same complex as Lion Food Center. The places in Oakland I've gotten recently haven't been that good.

Barely a week since Trump announced he had tested positive for the coronavirus, he claimed he was no longer contagious.
Speaking to Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo on Thursday morning in his first call-in TV interview since contracting the virus, the president offered no proof but claimed to be feeling well and said he was eager to get back on the campaign trail.
“No, I don’t think I’m contagious at all,” Trump said, adding he wouldn’t go to a campaign rally if he were.
"President Donald Trump said Thursday he doesn't think he's contagious anymore, but medical experts say that's impossible to know a week after his diagnosis with COVID-19." - AP quote
?!
Does he currently test negative?
Are his last 2 tests at least 24 hours apart negative?
Are all people he has had personal contact with in that time frame tested negative?
If the answers are all Yes, then he can resume normal activities. If not, then he needs to be kept in isolation.
"Doctors and medical staff working at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center when President Trump made a medical visit there last November were required to sign nondisclosure agreements, an unusual request that rankled some personnel, according to multiple people familiar with the episode.
Although the White House has described Trump’s stop at the hospital as part of a “routine” checkup, there were multiple signs that the visit was hastily arranged and did not follow the typical protocol for a planned presidential stop, according to the people, who, like others interviewed for this report, spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the visit."
"In more than two centuries of publishing, the New England Journal of Medicine has never weighed in on a U.S. presidential election. That changed this week.
On Wednesday, alongside its usual peer-reviewed scientific studies and analysis, the journal published a blistering editorial taking President Trump and his administration to task over their handling of the coronavirus pandemic. The respected journal broke the nonpartisan position it has held since 1812 with an editorial titled, “Dying in a Leadership Vacuum,” which urged voters to oust Trump over his administration’s failures."
Nice, but I guess only for people who trust their doctor/believe in science.
In more than 2 centuries of covering the medical beat, I doubt they have ever seen a more poorly managed major health situation, at least on the scale of the current one.
And it has to be considered one of the major developments in medicine during that time, all due respect to polio, wars, cancer, and nutrition.
I remain a Pete Buttigieg skeptic but I have to give him his due for taking his Midwestern nice onto FoxNews and successfully swinging at their idea of a fast ball
Atlanta completes sweep of Miami. Have only been scored on in one game so far in the postseason. Looking forward to seeing how they stack up against the Dodgers, who are well on their way to putting the Padres out of their misery.
Astros come back and overwhelm A;s. Didn't surprise me; based on what I saw during the regular season, I couldn't figure out how the A's record was as good as it was, or how the Astros record was as bad as it was. Neither matched the eye test. The post-season did.
Chad Pinder already delivered a series-winning hit earlier this month. On Wednesday, he saved another October series with perhaps the Oakland A’s clutchest hit of the year.
Facing elimination from the 2020 postseason with just three innings to go, Pinder blasted a three-run homer to tie Game 3 of the ALDS. The A’s rallied for two more in the 8th to take the lead, with Pinder again driving in one of them, and Liam Hendriks pitched a nine-out save to seal the 9-7 victory and force a Game 4 on Thursday against the Houston Astros.
That one was tough to watch. I retreated to the MLB play-by-play Ap in latter innings when I saw the words in play, runs. Watched the ninth live though. The A's survived to play another day.
Cody Bellinger hit one home run and took away another, and the Dodgers offense threatened throughout, then somehow held on for a 6-5 win over the Padres in an exciting Game 2 of the NLDS on Wednesday night.
The Dodgers lead the best-of-5 series, two games to none.
Bellinger’s solo home run in the fourth inning was the first of the series for either team, and the Dodgers’ second in four games this postseason. But it was a home run he brought back, off the bat of Fernando Tatis Jr. in center field in the seventh inning that probably saved the game.
If the Padres had a healthy pitching staff I think they would be a real threat to eliminate the Dodgers, but right now it seems like they don't have enough.
They have great hitters but for the most part the Dodgers pitchers have kept them in check, 9th inning yesterday not included. The pitch to Manny was a pretty good pitch but Manny was looking slider low and in and got it. The Hosmer pitch was bad. The first game they had the 2nd inning and couldn't score. I don't think they threatened too much after that.
The question is if the 9th inning will get them going. Tatis is 0-fer, although it would be 1-fer if it weren't for Bellinger. Manny is 1-fer I think. Pham is the one that has gotten on base the most I think. Just about all the other hitters, other than the 9th, haven't done much.
I hope that this finally means Kenley Jansen won't be closing out any games unless the Dodgers are up BIG. He did get unlucky during Cronenworth's AB. Dropped tipped 3rd strike. Popup near the dugout that wasn't caught due to the shift. Line drive up the middle that tipped off his glove. If he didn't touch that Kiké was right there to make the out. Dave Roberts should've had someone warming up earlier. Unfortunately their two best relievers had already been used.
Yeah, and his velocity was good for a few pitches but then he lost it. I agree with Jon Weisman that the Dodgers need to have a reliever warming pretty much at all times after the starter is out
And Cody Bellinger!!! And it was ridiculous that Machado got butt-hurt when he threw his bat at the dugout and screamed when he hit his HR. I think that's why Graterol threw his glove and hat at the Dodgers dugout when Bellinger robbed the HR. If you're going to do your shit (which I didn't have a problem with) don't be butt-hurt when the other team does it when they make a great play.
Colorado has gotten clearance from Boulder county to resume practice, and both USC & UCLA have gotten clearance. Stanford still can't get permission from Santa Clara county, so they are packing up the football team and heading ~4 miles up the road to Woodside HS, which is in San Mateo county.
That makes 11 of the 12 teams in the Pac-12 set to begin practice tomorrow. Only Cal (where else than in Berkeley) is still struggling to get clearance.
I wonder if Stanford will get to play their games at home, or if they will wind up playing them at the high school. With no crowd, and no traffic concerns, it could be done. Field is better than the Stanford bog.

Dodgers offense does just enough to win Game 2
https://www.truebluela.com/2020/10/7/21507100/cody-bellinger-austin-barnes-dodgers-home-runs-padres-recap

Dodgers have never lost a post-season series that they have led 2-0. Appears highly unlikely that will change now.
I sure hope the Assterisks do.
I agree with Jon Weisman that the Dodgers need to have a reliever warming pretty much at all times after the starter is out
I was shocked his first strikeout was 94. Like he was saving up his strength all season. But then it went downhill.
