Countdown (15/19 Amazon Prime). A series about an FBI taskforce to stop a mass casualty terorrist event in LA. Pretty good. Lots of action. A good turn off your brain show to watch.
Warriors mostly cruise to easy win at home vs Suns. they were up by 20+, let the Suns back in a bit to 7-8 points in the 3rd quarter before pulling away.
Jimmy Butler strained something and was out most of the 2nd half.
It’s just not the same rivalry between the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns this season. Kevin Durant has taken his talents and his social media accounts to Houston. Chris Paul has been gone since 2023 and played with the Warriors in the interim. Devin Booker is still there to terrorize the Warriors — he had 38 points Tuesday night — but without Klay Thompson around to get upset at him, some of the juice is gone.
Only ever taken one. Was on a walk last winter and it started snowing heavily. My hat and beard were caked with snow by time I got home so took a selfie to share with friends and family.
even though all the kids do it, there is something strange about when someone older like that does it. i agree it is disturbing but not sure why.
i see a lot of older people on trains more addicted than young people to scrolling on Tiktok or Instagram. that disturbs me too.
my naive thought process is that kids have incorporated these things into their lives in a more seamless and less harmful way. the older ones are bored or lonely or depressed or something possibly more concerning.
I've taken maybe 1 selfe with my phone ever. Maybe 35 years ago I remember taking a couple with a little point and shoot camera. Face the lens towards the faces and pray you have everyone in the shot.
That describes me, also. I have probably taken 2 selfies all told. One I took is used as my avatar on my work phone. It's okay. But I find the act of taking my own selfie hopelessly self-involved. Just won't do it.

My 80+ dad takes a lot of selfies. I am slightly disturbed by it, but then feel bad about being disturbed.

unless part of a group, i almost never take a selfie.
somehow my thumb or fingers are not good at pressing the buttons without jiggling the phone a lot.
