Prediction: The OCs that we're looking at are up-and-coming guys (read: guys we can afford) and are more likely to be lower division guys getting a shot rather than P5 retreads who will want $$$ rather than a chance.

we can afford a decent OC. The issue is finding one who will both work with the players we have, and do some good recruiting.
I'm beginning to think that we will be out of major college football within 10 years. I just don't think there is a will to make a commitment to the sport, and sans that and continued portal losses and inability to fund NILs there is not much of a future. Need a Phil Knight to save us.

I don't follow the NFL much so I was shocked when I saw that Tom Cable, former Cal O-line coach, was HC for the Raiders back in 2008.

Warriors lose a close one on the road to the Mavericks.
watched the end of this game and the Warriors actually played decent. a few rushed shots in the final minutes, but they certainly had some chances.
Luka played amazing. 40+ points and was mostly unstoppable,
Also had a couple of chances at the end, but Steph got called for traveling (on a play that technically is traveling but is rarely called that way) and then Klay got a good open look at the end and just missed it short.
These things happen.
they called traveling very tight all not on both sides. but like you said. they normally dont.
They couldn't hit anything outside all game and were missing shots they normally make. Could have easily won had they not given the Mavs a 17pt head start by chucking up 3s for most of the first quarter.

I had a hard time finding the DBD today. It's not showing up on my main page and when I click on "New" down below it still wasn't there. Only when I clicked on "Community" did it show up. Curious if anyone else had this problem.

This is how it always starts. DBD doesn't make it to the front page unless enough comments/visitors occur until it makes some algorithm put it there.

Or the author should take the extra step to go to the Archive list and pin it to the front page. Its the way substack works. It's unfortunate there isn't a checkbox to pin to the front page on the screen when you publish an (any) article.
There is a pin option, but it crowds out other content that is more important - especially content that is paid content. While I value the DBD, that's a non-starter. It will remain as an unpinned post. If y'all manage to comment and like enough to make it to the Front Page, that's up to you.
