Being a Cal fan from 1950, player, alum, that day brought tears to my eyes and after watching other "Game Days" I realize there is no better experience I could ever get in my college days than CAL. Go Bears forever!!
One of the most incredible days as a Cal fan...and one of the most Cal days when we gave up that lead. Thank you to the Calgorithm for giving us a chance to show ESPN what they've been missing!
Amazing to say the least day/experience….ESPN guys, including Mr. Serious Saban were totally into it…….so welcome guys to Bear Territory!!!! Always exciting, but never predictable.
Such great memories. I'll always remember being there. Story: I'm getting pizza last night in a local dive. ESPN on the big screens. Look up and see this episode when they announce Cal as the greatest Game Day. I spontaneously voiced out loud a "Go Bears!". People turned and looked at me like I was a freak.
And I was there too! It was an amazing day. Best day ever except for the birth of my daughter. Like that, I will never forget this experience and how it felt!!!
This was the pinnacle of the 2024 season with the highest of hopes for the Bears. In the 3rd quarter it looked like Cal would knock off a ranked team and we would move into the top of the ACC. Ah, what could have been. This is like the girl that got away .....
Or not! 😁 I was there, too, in my small office in northwestern Wyoming. I had a great seat, I relied on WFC commenters for shadow, light and what went on during commercial breaks. It was impressive outreach for a longtime backburner program, engineered flawlessly by Write For California and the wizards of Calgorithm. ESPN crew was more than along for the ride, and our admin stepped up with exquisite lighting and more. I’m not a bit surprised at our Herbie Award, and we should get a copy of it to Daniel Villasenor, a face in the Berkeley crowd who admitted on national TV he couldn’t quite describe his major, instead showing his mojo with a kick that does place him in the Berkeley pantheon. Go Bears indeed.

I left my appreciation for you guys in the DBD.
The DBD was at one time the place to be in the olden days.
Such a fun day!! Wish I was there but, thanks to you guys, I was.

Need the ability to give this post more than one like.

Way to represent!
Go Bears Forever.

Go Bears! 💙💛
ESPN is Bear Territory!! Go Bears!!! Continue looking forward to Calgorithm impacts across other college sports.
Cal football has so much potential. That’s why the mess we’re in hurts so much more.
Oh how much I feel you and agree. My heart hurts. The last few days have been painful as a Bear fan.
Go Bears! 💛💙

I was there and it was great. As great as it was, I can only imagine how awesome game day would have been in 2004, 2006 and 2007.
Over the years, this will become the Cal Woodstock with millions of people claiming to have been there.
Document it before you forget. LOL
I got a shirt from the event. Even when I'm gone and people are sorting through my effects, they'll know I was at GameDay.
You should have it interred with you.
3000 years from now people can marvel at the "Game Day Man".

Go Bears, yes, indeed.
Is it fair to say that none of THIS part of the season would have happened without the #Calgorithm?
Love this! I actually took a screen shot that day of Saban wearing the CAL tie and kept it. Epic!!
Saban for HC? Why not Cal? I believe you mentioned we were building a Saban model coaching staff…Ok, I’d settle for Rugbear for OL coach!!
Thank you. I’m humbled, but I’m not the guy. 🙏
